Privacy Policy

You give us a name and a number so we can call you back about a clean. This page says exactly what happens to those details, who else ever sees them, how long we keep them, and how to have them deleted. No legal fog — if something here is unclear, phone us and ask.

Who we are

Ferraz Cleaning Services is the data controller for everything described on this page. We clean homes and business premises in Enfield, north London and the Hertfordshire borders.

What we collect, and only when you hand it over

We collect nothing from people who simply read the site. Every detail below arrives because you typed it into the booking assistant or the offer form and pressed send.

When you ask us to call you back

  • Your name — so we know who we are speaking to.
  • Your phone number — the callback itself.
  • Whether you are booking as an individual or a business, and the day and time you asked us to call, if you chose one.
  • Anything you typed in the note — the property, the job, the date you need it done.

When you claim an offer

  • Your name, and either an email address or a phone number — whichever you chose to give us. We ask for one, not both.

Two things collected automatically

  • A one-way scramble of your IP address. The address itself is never stored. What is stored cannot be turned back into an address; it exists so that one person cannot flood us with hundreds of fake enquiries.
  • A Google advert click number, if you reached us by clicking one of our adverts. It identifies the advert, not you — it carries no name, no address and nothing about who clicked. It tells us which advert was worth paying for.

Cookies — we do not use any

This site sets no cookies at all. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no tracker from any other company, and nothing that follows you to other websites. The site is built so that it cannot load code from anywhere else even if someone tried.

Two small things are kept in your own browser. Neither is sent anywhere, neither is readable by any other website, and neither says anything about who you are:

  • The advert click number, if you arrived from one of our Google adverts. It is held in the tab's own memory so that it survives you reading a second page before you enquire, and it is erased the moment you close the tab.
  • A note that you have already seen our offer pop-up — one word, stored so that we do not show you the same thing every time you visit. It stays until you clear your browser data. If you would rather it were not there, closing the pop-up and clearing your site data removes it, and nothing on this site stops working without it.

That is the whole list. It is why you have not been shown a cookie banner: there is no tracking here to consent to.

Why we are allowed to hold it

To answer you

You asked for a quote or a callback. Handling your details is the step before a contract you invited — UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b).

To run the business honestly

Keeping a record of quotes given, stopping fake submissions, and knowing which adverts bring real customers. This is our legitimate interest — Article 6(1)(f) — and it is balanced against your privacy by holding as little as possible.

To send you an offer

Only if you claimed one. You gave us the contact detail for that purpose and can tell us to stop at any time, in one line, with no reason needed.

Who else ever sees it

We do not sell your details, and we never will. We do not share them with other cleaning companies, lead-selling websites, marketing lists or anyone who would contact you about something you did not ask for.

Four suppliers handle the data because they carry it for us. Each is bound by contract to use it only for that purpose:

  • Supabase — the database your enquiry is stored in.
  • Resend — sends us the email that tells us an enquiry arrived.
  • Cloudflare — serves the website pages themselves.
  • Google — where you clicked the advert, before you reached us.

Some of these operate servers outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the safeguards UK law requires for international transfers.

Beyond that, we would only ever hand something over if the law obliged us to.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that never became a job: 24 months, then deleted. People often come back a year later with the same flat, and we would rather not ask you everything twice.

Customers we actually worked for: 6 years after the last job. That is not our choice — UK tax law requires business records to be kept that long.

Offer sign-ups: until you tell us to stop, or 24 months of silence, whichever comes first.

Your rights, and how to actually use them

You do not need a solicitor or a special form. Email ferrazcleaningservice@gmail.com or phone +44 7828 990846 and say what you want. We have one month to respond and it costs you nothing.

  • See it — ask for a copy of everything we hold about you.
  • Correct it — if the number or the spelling is wrong.
  • Delete it — ask us to erase it. We will, unless tax law obliges us to keep an invoice record, in which case we will tell you exactly what stays and why.
  • Stop the offers — one message ends them, and it does not affect any cleaning you have booked.
  • Object, or ask us to pause — you can tell us to stop using your details for a particular purpose.
  • Take it with you — ask for your details in a file you can hand to someone else.

If we get it wrong and you are not satisfied with how we handled it, you can complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office — ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first and gave us the chance to fix it.

Children

This is a service for people who own or rent property. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us details, tell us and we will delete them.

Changes to this policy

If what we do with your details changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. There is no other version of this policy anywhere.

Anything here you want explained?

Ask a person rather than reading it twice. We answer the phone Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm.
