Cleaning Services in the City of London
The City is the one place we cover where almost nobody lives. Around eight thousand residents, and several hundred thousand people who arrive in the morning and leave at six. That single fact decides everything about how cleaning here works: it happens when the building is empty.
Out of hours is not an extra here, it is the only option
Cleaning an office around people is slower and worse. Desks get skipped because someone is sitting at them, the washroom is cleaned three times because it keeps being used, and the vacuum runs during a call. So City work is early morning, evening, overnight or weekend, and the building is usually emptier and easier at those hours than anywhere else in London.

The Barbican and Golden Lane are their own specification
Board-marked concrete that must never meet an abrasive or a strong alkali, parquet and terrazzo floors, full-height windows onto a podium or a lake, and internal layouts with built-in furniture that is part of the flat rather than in it. These are listed buildings and the finishes are original.
They are excellent to clean when the products are right and expensive to get wrong, and the answer to nearly every question in that estate is a neutral product, a soft head and more time. The same is true of the converted warehouses around Smithfield and Clerkenwell.

Offices, before anyone arrives
Desks, meeting rooms, kitchens, washrooms and the reception a client sees first, on a fixed schedule with each visit recorded.

Entrance halls, lift lobbies, stairwells and bin stores in the residential blocks, weekly, with attendance logged.

Questions we are asked most
Can you clean overnight or at weekends?
Yes, and for offices that is the default rather than a favour. Early mornings, evenings, overnight and weekends are all normal for us. Tell us the access arrangement — keys, fob, security desk, alarm code held by your own staff — and we work to it.
Will you work to our own cleaning specification?
Yes, and we would rather have it than write our own. Send the specification, the frequency and the areas it covers, and that becomes the document each visit is measured against. Where something in it needs equipment or access we do not have, we say so before signing rather than quietly leaving it out.
How do you clean Barbican concrete and parquet?
With neutral products and soft heads, and never with anything abrasive, acidic or strongly alkaline. Board-marked concrete cannot be restored once it is etched, and old parquet is sealed with wax or oil that water lifts. Damp, not wet, and more time than a modern flat of the same size.
Is there anywhere to park?
Rarely, and we plan for that instead of hoping. We ask about the loading bay, the service entrance and any time limit when you book, and we arrive with what the job needs in one trip.
